On March 28-29, the Interreg ÖKS funded project Green Valleys 2.0 had its kick-off at St Jörgen park in Gothenburg.
Around 30 people from Sweden, Denmark and Norway met under pleasant circumstances to plan and start up the project.
The project runs for three years and includes producing a protein concentrate from grass and clover that contains about 70% protein that can serve as feed for fish.
The project will also include feeding trials on the residual product fiber pulp to horses, cattle and sheeps. The residual product will also be used for the production of biochar by pyrolysis and as an alternative raw material for packaging and textiles.
