At the Sötåsen Agricultural College, a feeding trial is underway with press cake from the biorefining of grass and clover.

In the film, Karolina Bergström (project manager at the Västra Götaland Region Agricultural Administration) and Jenny Hermansson (operations manager at the Sötåsen Agricultural School in the Västra Götaland Region) talk about the trial, which is being conducted on dry cows – cows that are resting between lactation periods. Two groups are being compared: one that is fed press cake and one that is fed traditional feed. The aim is to investigate whether press cake can be a sustainable and effective alternative to silage or straw.
